
He studied in Athens University and was trained in Athens Naval Hospital and “Metaxas” Memorial Cancer Hospital. From 2002 to 2010 he was an Attending Surgeon in “Athens Medical Center”, a private hospital in Marousi, Athens, Greece. In 2010 he was appointed a lecturer of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and since 2016 an Assistant Professor.
He is predominately specialized in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Salivary Gland surgery including Sialendoscopy, Head and Neck surgery, as well as Voice and Swallowing disorders. He is one of the most known surgeons in Greece for the treatment of salivary gland diseases and tumors as well as for the treatment of vocal fold paralysis.
He runs the Voice and Swallowing clinic at the “Attikon” University Hospital.
He has published clinical research articles in greek and peer reviewed international journals and has been a presenter as well as an invited speaker in greek and international meetings in Greece, Europe and the US.
He is also a member of the following national and international societies:
The European Laryngological Society, the European Society of Swallowing Disorders, and the International Rhinologic Society Hellenic Society of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery (member of the Board from 2015 to 2017), the Otolaryngologic Society of Athens (member of the Board), the Hellenic Society of Phoniatrics and Swallowing Disorders (Chairman of the Board), and the Hellenic Society of Head & Neck Cancer.
